Terms of Service
Last updated 2026-09-12
By using directflightclaim.com you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.
What the service is
The site is a free, self-service information tool. It estimates statutory compensation for a disrupted flight and generates a letter you may send to an airline in your own name. It is provided at no charge and takes no share of anything you recover.
What the service is not
- It is not legal advice and creates no lawyer–client relationship. See the legal disclaimer.
- It does not act for you. It files nothing, receives no money on your behalf, and never contacts an airline for you.
- It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or acting for any airline.
Your responsibilities
You are responsible for the accuracy of what you enter and for what you send. Before you send a letter, read it. Statutory amounts, thresholds and deadlines change, and the figure the calculator shows is an estimate based on the rules as understood at the time of writing — verify it against the current statute or a qualified adviser before relying on it, particularly if a limitation period is close.
Do not use the site to submit claims you know to be false, to harass an airline's staff, or in any way that breaks the law where you are.
No warranty
The site is provided "as is". No promise is made that a calculation is correct for your circumstances, that an airline will pay, or that the site will be available or error-free. To the fullest extent the law allows, the operator is not liable for any loss arising from your use of the site, including a claim that is refused, underpaid, or missed because a deadline passed.
Intellectual property
The text, design and code of the site belong to its operator. The letter the calculator produces is yours: use it, edit it, and send it freely. Airline names and trade marks belong to their owners and appear here only to identify the carrier you are claiming against.
Links to other sites
Links to airline claim forms and to regulators are provided for convenience. Those sites are not under the operator's control, and appearing here is not an endorsement.
Changes
These terms may change; the date above records when. Continuing to use the site after a change means accepting the revised terms.
